I'm deciding on whether to get the Samsung T260HD or wait for a 26"+ equivalent 3D monitor.
I don't mind spending around $500 but not more than $600.

I need a lot of connectivity, for various consoles, and of course my PC.
I like the T260HD but I'm not in any rush to get a monitor right now if waiting for a 3D monitor at that size and a decent price isn't a pipe dream. Plus, I have no idea how well the 3D systems actually work since I've never used one.

Anybody have any advice on what I should do?

3D monitors are a pipe dream. If it's actually perfected, do you actually think it will cost no more than $600?

I would wait for a review first. Sounds great on paper (like anything can), but you wanna find out if that think can give people headaches and if it actually works for all games (if any).

I went and got the T260HD, now I'm going to (most likely) return it.
The color quality is worse than my existing Gateway monitor. Add to it that the total backlight life is 20,000 hrs with 90% certainty, and that it's under spec and I'm not happy.

I guess I'll try to fix the color through Nvidia's CP but I can't yet find a good mix that will get me anywhere near the quality on my Gateway. All the colors are just... dull.
