Under the start menu there are all the My Documents, My Music etc.
These all open folders on my XP system partition D but I store the
corresponding files on E. How can I get them to open a location folder
on E?

If you need to move My Documents folder to a different drive. Right click My
Documents folder and select Properties. Use the options under Target tab.

Thanks. I looked at this and need more info. By use options under
target tag I assume you are referring to move. So if I follow this
path and create a new folder on my E drive for My Documents will this
place My Documents and all of its folders in that location. If I then
click on the start menu and My Pictures will it take me to My Pictures
under My Documents now on my E drive.
What if I just want My pictures and My Music folders from My Documents
on My E drive. Can I not get the start menu to point to folders set up
there.
