It depends what you want to do with it, i.e. what will the main use be? Business, gaming, etc... When you figure that out, then you can customize it a bit. Personally, I like Dell laptops. They tend to last in my experience, especially with a c2d cpu, as they don't put off too much heat.

The processor in Inspiron 14z is core 2 solo or core 2 duo with max 1.6 GHz.

use would be mainly games like GTA's and spider man, Browsing, Videos and photos.
