I was wondering what tweaks or special settings did you do to windows to get a boost in performance?

Thanks for all the replies!

It won't give you any problems if your mainboard BIOS is compatible, with well-written drivers for the hardware, and if it is configured correctly.

That just happens to be easier said than done, depending on the skill level of the user.

I've been running it for ten months on my personal systems, and I don't have any complaints.

To each his own.

turn off system restore, right click on my computer, properties and then system restore. Then upgrading your memory will help alot, Windows Xp likes alot of memory. I will recommend at least 256 but 512 will be nice..

Enjoy!
