trying to replace my original 80g 5400 on inspiron 1501 with a western digital scorpio 160g 7200 but i get a bios bug #81 (000fdc80) when acronis boots up the new hard drive in place. acronis can't find the new hard drive. tried to get help from dell but i get forwarded from one dept to another without resolution. chipset ati radeon xpress 1150, cpu amd turion x2.

use the new hard drive on another computer and format it, then put it on this laptop and install.
