Just thought I'd post this because I surfed these posts before I made the purchase and there was a lack of feedback towards some of them.
Yes it only has one DVI port, but it's plenty. With my old 226BW I'd do source switching between two computers, but I just put a cheapo monitor on my server (had 2 old crts laying around).
Couldn't be happier for a $1k purchase. Not a single dead pixel. The panel has some incredible contrasting. There's no adjustments other than brightness, but the colors arrived as accurate as I am able to tell.
I guess in comparison to the Dell 30" I was looking at, this monitor was a couple hundred dollars less (allowing room for a second video card if needed), and the reviews pegged it as at least as good (if not better) than the ultrasharp picture.
The gamming on it at 2560x1600 is beautiful. I've ran:
Tomb Raider Underworld
Left4Dead
Team Fortress 2
Mirror's Edge
Need for Speed Undercover
Fallout 3
Ironman
Grand Theft Auto 4
Mirror's Edge is the only game where I've experienced any horizontal "stuttering" while Faith pans the cityscape. I wasn't surprised to finally enocounter something like this and it wasn't during the gameplay, but rather a cutscene.
So I give it high marks. I'm not a graphics professional, but I do play a lot of video games and horse around with modding them. I am pleased with the purchase.
