i have Acer Travelmate 4501. laptop is designed to run via XP.

i need sound drivers for Win98/ME. i tried to google it but didnt find any.

anybody knows where could i get that drivers or what drivers i could use instead?

If you do not know what the sound card make or model is, try contacting Acer, or failing that, use SiSoft Sandra Professional (version 2002 or later preferably) to find out details on your soundcard. If you can't get SiSoft Sandra PM me and I'll see if I can get you a copy.

well, as i found out soundcard is Conexant AMC Audio.

btw- installing XP drivers of the soundcard on win98 worked

but now im having problems with DMA channels.
