Hi,

With the intro of Windows 7, I kinda expected to see a load of touchscreen monitors to start to be available. I am even holding off on buying a new monitor, coz' I want one.... 22 inches for a reasonable price ($500 ?).

Why are there none out there ?

Because they are a niche market mostly for business, industrial or medical use (at least for now). There are some touch screens available now, but not the size you want or the price point.
