Anyone have any idea why RDRAM never gets any cheaper?!
I think it actually is going up in price...

So far only Samsung is building it in any real volume.

There used to be others who built it to, including Infineon. But since RAMBUS started pointing the finger, many of the major manufacturers stopped building it.

Samsung is one of the main investors of RAMBUS technology.. so it's no coincedence that they are pretty much the only company building it.

The price increases when the supply is tight and people still want it.. like we are seeing right now.
