So a couple of years ago, I built a desktop, because its way cheaper than buying a laptop thats going to end up weaker. Well time has gone on, I need a laptop, and they have gotten pretty good. At least good enough for what I want. I have been looking through newegg and dell. Alot of what I want I find it out of stock. Two issues:

I want a laptop that ships with Windows 7. So I guess I need to wait till the Oct 22 release date before I buy a laptop right? Or I can get an upgrade pretty easy. I am a college student, so I can get the upgrade for 30 bucks.

I am looking to spend somewhere in the 400--650 range. I want core 2 duo if I can, around 2 ghz. Also I really want to have a separate keypad. I notice that only screens of 15 inch and above have that. So, what are your thoughts? I am going to keep my eye out, but should I just wait till 7 drops before I really start looking?
