Nikon S630 Digital camera

Hello,My new Nikon says write protected when I tur it on and have tried two other cards. What can I do to remove write protected when I tur the camera on?

If you are satisfied the problem is with the camera not the memory cards, I would suggest starting by finding the menu item for resetting everything to defaults.

If that doesn't help, perhaps remove the battery and leave overnight, make sure you have a fresh/fully charged battery, start the camera and see.

Make sure that the notch on the memory card is not set to write-protected mode.
