Can anyone suggest one (or a few) good subwoofers?
Looking for something less than $200, a good feel to it (without distorting sound quality), looks decent (yes, looks matter, even though it will likely become a footrest), and won't blow a fuse in my house from using too much power.

I'm no audiophile, I just want some oomph to my sound.

If it's a 2.1 combo (left, right, subwoofer) at a reasonable price, I'll consider it too.

Just another thing on my list of upgrades. =D
4870 1gb - check.
i7 - check.
23" - check.
new keyboard - in progress.
subwoofer - in progress.
5xxx seires - evenetually.
new desk - eventually.
new chair - eventually.
chips and onion dip - currently working on it.

Thank you very much.
The Energy 200W looks temping, but leaves me wondering, how many amps do I have left on my 110V 16amp fuse? (I've blown it quite a few times before...)

200 Watts divided by 110 - 120 Volts = 2 Amps - 1.666... Amps, Remember this is also a B.A.S.H amplifiers so they're more efficient than A/B Amps.

Well, I mention the question of how many amps I have left because I used to blow my fuses in less demanding situations. Now I have a more power hungry computer and 2 people using my power in their mobile home.

I'll likely check into it later, but I need to get a receiver that accept L/R audio (such as form a DVD player, or in my scenario, an Xbox), and outputs your standard 3.5mm. This would be so I can play my console on my monitor (via xbox dvi cable) and still have audio on a 2.1 system.
