Hi There

I am after a monitor that will be used as my secondary.

This monitor will be used in a portrait orientation. Howver, I am unable to find/decipher any information from looking at monitor specs as to what will constitute whther the monitor is capable of being set up in a portrait position and whether it is suitable for viewing purposes.

The monitor should be 22" give or take an inch, should be black and have Hi-def resolution.

Can anyone suggest any suitable monitor modles that are suitable or shed any helpful information on this topic.

Thanks very much!

:)

The Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP is a good choice, if you can spare the money. It's an excellent monitor, and capable of portrait mode fairly easily.

Very nice, Thanks for the suggestion!

24" is just a tad too big for what Im after. Looking at 20 - 23".

If you really think that the difference between 24" and 23" is significant...

All Dell Ultrasharps 24" and smaller can pivot to portrait mode, so perhaps the 2007 FP? It's an excellent panel, capable of 1600x1200 (it's a non-TN display, so it has excellent color accuracy and black levels too).
