I've been looking at buying a netbook. With the release of windows 7 next week I am a bit puzzled on what to do. I DO NOT want windows 7. I am much happier with xp. I purchased a gaming laptop the end of last year. I find it too big and bulky for what I really need. Plus everything came with vista at the time. My question is... if i wait a few weeks will it be impossible to find a netbook with XP? Will there be any deals on netbooks with xp after windows 7 the release?

I don't think it will be impossible to find a netbook with XP on it after Win 7 is out.

Because most of those poor things could only barely run win 7 much less any other programs you want to use. I wouldn't get one with win 7 on it unless it had the new Nvidia ION video card and 2GB of ram.
