Since each tranformer has a stats sheet similar to the normal stats,
has anyone tried a conversion to have autobots and decepticons fight
against Chaos or Imperials?

I remember a kid doing this with transformers and a bunch of other toys way
back in my youth, but I don't really recall the details except that I played
the plastic dinosaurs...

Well I figure Transformers are about the same scale as 40k vehicles,
so I though would be cool for a 1 time battle, having a bunch of
robots tear through a few squads...

Not to state the obvious, but GW's already tried this. They call Transformers
"Crisis Battlesuits".

Well I must admit to collecting them myself, once, I have to admit - but I
stopped before turning 12. I think my sense of aesthetics must have matured
since then...

They were the toys I couldn't have when I was a child. I had to make do with
lego, which wasn't so bad, but oh for even one transformer.
