For those who have not heard... Hauppauges HD PVR (avchd-usb capture) enables anyone to record their Premium HDTV from any Cable/SAT receiver to a PC. I've been using it for a few months now, and am amazed with the video quality. The files at AVCHD (h264+ac3 in a .m2ts format)...which can be played back on any BD player or PS3. If you're interested in building your own HD Video library...this is the device for you. btw, it's also 'one-of-a-kind'... so far
