Hi,
I am looking for a laptop to run visual studio 2008, sql server 2005, sql profiler and rational software modeller parallely.
I also want to watch movies, may be play a little game http://img.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] iggrin.gif

I do not want a big laptop, a 14 inch would be good
Main issue is portability and good RAM, HDD and processor power, DVD r/w is also required.

Please suggest some notebooks based on these.
Currently I am using Dell E6400- but from what I hear there are serious problems with Dell - battery wear out, Hard disk crash, bad sectors and so on.

Please suggest laptops based on the above criterion.

Thanks pal, but as far as dell is concerned I think it has a serious battery problem, infact currently I am using Dell E6400. Not sure about the HP though because I found out this:

Well the HP DV6 QuadCore edition looks good,you may want to ask HP about the warranty,if there wasn't any problem then go for it,it has good specs and good price
