How do these hold up? In my other post I stated how I'm looking for Ram that performs better than my Corsair models. Again I plan on taking out my two corsair matched pairs and replacing with a well rounded solid single matched pair that will out perform my current ram in everyway.

But geil is quality stuff. The fact that its hynix chip gives the memory rather high timming(by 2day standards) and will limit OCing the ram over 500mhz...

If you can get them cheap and you dont mind the higher timmings(some ram do 2-2-2-5 at ddr500) go ahead, geil is good stuff

Im using 4x256MB PC4000 sticks from Geil. Dont expect good timmings from the sticks (2.5-4-4-7 I believe mine are running at). But ive never had any RAM related stability issues, and they reach 500Mhz no prob.

ballistix is probably better. Lower timmings, more OC headroom....
But once again Geil is stable and solid I used to have Geil Golden Dragon stuff and it was sweet
