Cant find photos on computor

I have downloaded a couple of photos from my new Easyshare M575 but can't find the pictures

Use Windows Search asking it to look for pictures -- or put in search criteria as *.jpg (or whatever format your camera saves in).

You shouldn't have to use the camera maker's software to download pictures. I assume this is Kodak -- I use one without any of the Kodak applications -- just plug the thing in to the USB and it shows up as an external disc drive. I then use Windows Explorer or My Computer to transfer the photo files from the camera to a new folder on the computer.
