acer aspire 5100: lights comes on, fan is on, cd rom runs, but no display! changed the ram. what shall i do? wud it work if i re-flash the bios? and how do i do that when nothing appears on screen? any help is welcome. thanx. Yahuya

Hook your machine up to an external monitor and see what happens. If it works, you probably have a problem with your screen.
