I'm new to the amazing and satisfying word of high(er) end audio component I've just purchased a pre amp/amp combination's (Marantz av8300,and Marantz MM8300 amp) which include both unbalanced and balanced outputs to the amp. I'd like to use the XLR outputs, which I understand are the optimal cable for this purpose The problem I have is I'm finding digital XLR, and XLR. What is the difference and what should I buy?

For balanced outputs you want to just use XLR cables to transmit signal
