I have a HP 1200 Laserjet. I bought it several years ago and it has provided me with good service.
Today I tried to print something and it gave me back a loud rapping sound. Sounds like woodpecker.
So, I'm faced with having someone repair it, or buy a new one.
I'm thinking that if I can get it repaired for $100, and it gives me another couple of years service, that would be good value.
Or, I buy a new printer.
I only need black printing on 8 1/2 by 11, I don't want an all-in-one type device, and I usually print 1-30 copies... over that I take the job to a copy shop.
