Hi,

My Windows xp crashed. I tried recovering it but still continues to give me
errors. Windows will not boot.

So what I did was replaced my primary drive with another harddisk. and
installed a new windows on that. This way my old drive along with the crashed
windows is my drive d:. I would like to recover the user files in the drive
d: and burn the important files into a disk, but windows is denying my access
to the user folders. I know that some of the users from that crashed windows
has admin passwords. I know all the passowrds... How can I access the
folders???

Take ownership of the items and then copy them. You need to use advanced
file sharing.
