I have a HannsG HW223D 22" monitor. On the front, there is a sticker that reads '1080p Ready'. Is it actually possible for a 22" monitor to support 1080p? Is it just scaling it down to its native resolution or something?

Here are my monitors details. I took a screen shot because the manufacturer's site is Flash based, blah.

1080p = 1920 x 1080

The monitor will down scale to 1680 x 1050.

To playback Blu-Ray movies both monitor and video must have HDCP.

It will accept a 1080p signal, but it won't be full 1080p resolution.
