The downloads at the above link, and more, that have the yellow arrow

Yes. Only users who own a legal version of Windows XP
are now eligible for certain Microsoft applications and
product updates.

Since I am running a legitimate copy of XP I don't mind asking you how to

In short, I went to MS's download pages and copied the links to the
downloads

All anyone needs to do if they want a download that requires WGA, and
they don't want to validate, is get a friend to email them a link. Or
do an advance search on the file name they want to download. Or ask me.

This is the part of the article I really love;

"Meanwhile, those who fail the validation test will be presented with two
options. People who send in their CDs, show proof they bought Windows and
fill out a piracy report will be eligible to get a legitimate copy of
Windows at no charge. Those who don't have CDs or a proof of purchase but
fill out a piracy report will have to pay for a licensed copy--$99 for
Windows XP Home and $149 for Windows XP Professional. Those prices are
higher than the upgrade cost for Windows XP, but lower than the price one
would have to pay for an entirely new copy of the OS"

Is that all MS needs to price XP at? No special deals for paying customers
on anything except for walk through our validation checks. If you can't walk
through you may get a 'free' or heavily discounted copy.

Let me see if I have this right. First, if you are an honest
purchaser of XP, then you have to proove you didn't steal it by
jumping through all the activation hoops while the real pirates don't
have to do anything because they don't have to activate. Next, if you
are a pirate and want to go honest, you get a special cut rate on the
software while the honest purchaser didn't get squat.

Sounds to me like piracy is the way to go.....

Complete fallacy of that argument has been pointed out numerous times.
Common sense was discarded by the poster as well as logic. Ergo troll.
So the question now is "Are you a troll too?".

Any thinking person knows that the owner of the software may perform
validation checks prior to distributing value adders to the "software
licensees". In the future you should endeavor to enlighten yourself
rather than have to be spoon fed the most elemental observations.

Yes you are, since trolls just assert things to try to start something.

Of course that has absolutely nothing to do with the post that being a
pirate is more cost-effective than buying a legit license.

Your logic isn't flawed, it is non-existent!

Asking you to provide a reason behind calling people trolls and the logic
behind an argument is asking to be spoon fed? YOU are the one who made the
accusation of troll not me. Asking you to back that up is what a reasonable
and intelligent person would do.
