I bought the Logitech 5500 recently for my laptop, installed it as per instructions and it doesn't seem to want to show me anything. I also notice that if I open up the quickshot option from the software application, the window pops up with a blank box where the camera's view should be and after a few seconds the window closes by itself.

Took the camera into work and followed the same instructions on the work's comp and it works fine. It shows a picture and the application doesnt force-close.

What could the problem be?

Try downloading the new driver/application from Logitech, if fails, un-install and re-install.
