I'm going to play a campaign soon where we will start out with 2000 pt
armies. This army will the grow (or shrink) as the campaign
progresses. Since there will be some focus on Dogs of War I won't use
a Daemon Prince as general.

My plan is to either use some version of this Slaaneshi force or make
a four coloured army. As most of the army isn't painted yet (and some
mods haven't been made) I am very open to suggestions. I will keep it
at all cavalry though. Nothing slower than move 6 or so.

Lord 210 304
MoS 25
Chaos Steed 24
Pendant of Slaanesh 20
Blade of Blood 35

Sorcerer 85 181
MoS 20
Dispel Scroll 25
Lvl 2 35
Chaos Steed 16

Sorcerer (as above) 181

Exalted Champion 100 190
MoS 20
Bindings of Slaanesh 50
Great Weapon 4
Chaos Steed 16

Chariot 120 130
MoS 10

Chariot 120 120

Chaos Warhounds 19x6 pts 114

Knights 5 x 33 pts 165 260
MoS 20
Full Command 50
War banner 25

Daemonettes on Steeds of Slaanesh 150
5 x 30 pts

Spawn (Fiend) 60+15 75

Spawn (Fiend) 60+15 75

Total: 1780

Casting Dice: 6, Dispel Dice: 4 (+2 scrolls)

One chariot lacks MoS because of modelling purposes (the one with the
mark has Steeds of Slaashesh as horses, and is (probably - not done
yet) ridden by daemonettes). The army is also a bit character heavy
but I'm having a hard time removing any of them.

The character with Bindings of Slaanesh is to go sorcerer hunting. The
Lord will go with Warhounds and the Exalted will go with the Knights
or alone.

I need tips for the 220 point I have left, and also comments on what
should be changed. Especially comments for changes. I know that this
army is a bit small, but I can't really see any solution to this.

Because of reasons I'm a bit low on cash right now but I will be able
to scrounge up more Chaos Knigths, more Chaos Hounds (ugly models
though), mounted Marauders, a few Trolls, maybe a Giant and I can also
build a few more chariots. I could probably buy one unit or so. Tips
on how to get cheap Furies are very welcome.

this looks a little too heavy on characters

That's a lot of points in characters, I'd say another unit of knights and/or
mounted daemonettes would be better.

cool, run these in tandem if you can.

Waaaay too big and unwieldy, 3 units of 6 will be so much better inan MSU
strategy of engagement. these are awesome support units for your knights,
chariots and mtd daemonettes.

a unit of 6 is always fluffier.

Do it now, get rid of the excess, characters don't bring rank bonus with
them.

I wouldn't worry about having a whole character to go sorcerer hunting,
leave it to some furies or your cavalry. You're looking with any army to try
and dominate two phases of the game to become competent, you will be
outmagicked by any magical army and you have no shooting, so go totally for
combat and manoevrability.

Since you're going for an all cav force don't go wight giant or trolls as
they will tie you down, characters are strong but units are way stronger.

If I was building this army I'd go

Chaos Lord as is
Chaos Sorcerer as is (+ dispel scroll)
2 x 5 units of knights w/ full command, 1 character goes in each
2 x slaanesh chariots
3 x 6 chaos hounds
2 x 6 mounted daemonettes (or 1 unit of daemonettes and get 6 mtd marauders
and an extra fiend)
3 fiends of slaanesh
6 furies

Daemonettes with wings, see if you can mail order some cheap wings.
