5.1 Speakers

Hi

I'm at a loss here, so i figured it would be great to hear some info
from some people who know a lot more than me about this.

i am looking at getting a 5.1 system for my entertainment center.
The electronics i am going to have plugged into it are a Ps3, Xbox 360,
and stream music from my computer.

It is only complicated because i am looking for systems that are good all around,
not be great with movies and be mediocre for music because of some fault with the subwoofer.

i am looking at around a 300$ price range, so far i am thinking of the Logitech Z5500.

Any suggestions and thoughts would be helpful.
