Hello,
Im wondering if i need 32 or 64 bit OS for working on word processing/databases and the likes, no graphics intesive things.. recommendations would be appreciated. :) Thank you.

Well, if you are going to get a computer with 4GB+ of RAM, you might as well go with 64 bit, as the OS will be able to utilize all 4GB. But if you plan on something under 4GB, you might as well go with the 32 bit version. For your use, I don't think it will make a difference one way or another.

As buwish said, the primary reason for 64 bit OS is to break the 4gb memory barrier. But at the cost of breaking compatibility with some older software. You can balance those two issues as you see fit.
