can any one tell me how to replace a broken dc socket in a acer aspire one

You might be advised to repost this in the Laptops forum.

But from my little knowledge of Acer products, DC jack failure is a pretty common issue. Acer should know about it and should fix it for you at no cost. Don't go fiddling with it yourself.

If out of warranty, take it back to the retailer and demand a free fix.
