Recommendations for a suitable laptop for a 10 year old would be welcome. Game playing is favourite, alongside surfing for help with homework. And I dislike Vista Home Premium, what about Windows 7? I'd love to pay less than £400 but not very hopeful?

with 400GPB its hard to find a gaming laptop,in that range you will find laptops with integrated graphics or low-end cards in them which aren't suitable for gaming

 

Also plz don't make 2 threads with 1 subject :)
