Hi,

I have bought a battery for my inspiron 1525 from ebay. Its a 9 cell 7200 maH battery.

I have inserted the battery and it doesn't charge a bit. The computer recognises the battery (went to control pannel and saw power info). It tells me the brand name of the battery but the battery doesn't get charged. The battery charge LED doesn't lit up.

My bios version is A08. Could this be the issue? I tried to flash bios but it doesn't work. It says I need a battery power of atleast 10% to be able to flash BIOS.

Should I return the battery? :(
