Lite-On SOHW 1693s

Hey, I was seriously considering purchasing this burner...what do you guys thinks???

It was either the LG 4163B or the Lite-on sohw 1693s....and I'm not quite sure which one I'll end up picking... please let me know what you think about either of these drives...

I haven't used either of them, but I will get the LiteOn.
I have a NEC the 3520 and I would recommend it. Newegg has the NEC 3540 (A little bit faster) for about $40.

It's a good drive, but burn quality may not be good with low quality media.

You can check <A HREF="http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=44" target="_new">CDfreaks.com LiteOn forum</A> and know a lot about people's experience with this drive.

I recommend LiteOn for great community support and mod tools.
