I'm afraid to turn off my Laptop, because every time I turn it off, I have to reconnect the USB devices. And while the USB devices work now, when I turn the computer off, I need to reconnect the new USB hub I have to a different USB port than I did the previous time.
If I don't do this, I get alot of "USB Device not recognized errors" and I lose access to my usb peripherals.
I only have four USB ports on my laptop and once I've used one and restarted, I cannot use it again or I will receive the aforementioned error; so you can see how this situation would be alarming.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've already used 3 of my 4 ports.
Note the keyboard and mouse don't seem to cause a problem with is (as long as I plug them in directly and not into the USB hub).
P.S. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A105 series.
Thank you,
