Hello. With a new HDTV will I be able to receive the digital TV signals or do I have to buy a converter box?

All modern TV sets in the North America come with a built in ATSC TV tuner to receive digital signals.

If you live elsewhere, you may need to check with the TV model you wish to purchase as some countries have not yet switched to all digital broadcasting and not all TV's with have their region's digital broadcast tuner inside.
