Not so frequently I download classical music from the best places. They have been non operatic issues whose tracks mean 'real' gaps (movements, etc.) Now I want to download an already unavailable at resaonable prices, performance of a Wagner opera (three acts) from DG web page (extremely cheap). Every act comes fully tracked. When I burn my private CD's, at converting MP3 to WAV files, I will get for sure, spoiled fully gapped complete acts. I intend that either Nero or ITunes do not fix this problem because of the files's structure. Friends have adviced me to re-rip my gapped CD's with EAC. It doesn't seem to be very simple and results are not very known by people because they do not usually download long uninterrupted tracked music. Is it possible to get this task in a relatively good and friendly manner? For me it is very strange that most serious classical music stores download files not thinking in this perspective, with the bright exception of a Swedish store that tracks their downloads in such a way, that, always, private CD's get perfect (for example, they make just one track for the two last movements of Beetoven's Waldstein sonata, because it's palyed and listened in a conctinuous manner; the same for two last movements of Fifth Symphony). I downloaded Liszt' sonata by Horowitz from other most wellknown store that resulted inaudible because of many interruptions at every track to track transition (Liszt's sonata is famous for being one solid rock piece of music). Sorry for such a long question. Many, many thanks, and friendly regards,
