So I had my eyes on the Acer G24 Orange 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 50000:1 (ACM) LCD for the longest time now.

I Don't think its bad for its price $379.99 (USD) Only bad this its orange. But who really see's the outside of your monitor when your face is glued to the screen.

Then I decided to look more and I found this

Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 (ACM) Built in Speakers

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824009162

$219.99(USD)

The reason why I came here is because I'm stump on what monitor to get. I like the G24 because of the 400cd/m2 50000:1 with 2MS and its 24inches. .

But then the H233 is 5ms with only a 300 cd/m2 40000:1 and only a 23inch. I'm leaning towards the H233 because If i settle with this monitor I was going to buy 2x for $439.98 and it looks shiny.

But This is were I'm stumped. My friend said don't get the 23inch because he told me they had troubles with the 23' to get to full HD. I mean it says full HD but am i really getting the full HD?

Which monitor(s) would you pick

-or-

sorry if it looks sloppy, Thank everyone for there help

The 23" has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 (ie 1080p) whereas the 24" has a max resolution of 1920x1200. Both are capable of "full HD" (Made up term that is mostly BS IMO), which is 1080p.

I personally prefer 1920x1200 resolution monitors, but both will do just fine.
