Hello,
I am using Windows 7 OS in a Satlliite P755-S5265 laptop. I can load a CD or DVD into the CD ROM/DVD player, it spins up, but it does not play or recognize there is media in the drive. In fact, it shows 0 bytes and all tracks date to 1994. I can play CD or DVD with other commercial programs. There is no Auto Play.

I have Disabled and Enabled CD Player several times through Device Manager, uninstalled and re-installed the drivers but it still doesn't work.

More about : rom playing
