I just bought a Logitech Deluxe 250 keyboard. It has a great feel, but there's one problem. I like the auto-repeat set to the highest and the key-delay set to the lowest. In-other-words, I like the fastest response possible from a keyboard.
The new Logitech 250 repeats (when I hold down a key) at 30-per-second. My old keyboard which is wearing out repeats at 40-per-second. This is on XP.
I didn't know that the repeat-rate was tied to the keyboard. Windows-control-panel has a panel to set the keyboard characteristics. What's going on?
My old keyboard has a PS2 connector and my new keyboard has a USB connector. Does that have anything to do with it?
