p4p800 and 2 gig ram

Help!!!

I just got 4 512 sticks of Crosair XMS ddr400[3200] ram
I can have 1.5gig running fine, but as soon as I go to 2gig... Windows crashes... 0x8E errors GALORE!!


I flashed the bios to newest on my board...

Also tried all the ram in different combos / to weed out a ram or slot issue.


anyone have any takes?

Try each stick by itself?
More than likely you have one stick bad.
If overclocking at all reset everything to stock speeds.

yep that was it

1 stick.. single.. =

0x0000008e during boot..

All other work fine

tried in all slots
