(Almost) each time I restart (or turn on) my computer my new and non-faulty USB 2,5" Trekstor 40GB Hard-Drive is not seen by either Windows or Linux. In this case, if simply I eject and replug his usb cable (either in computer or in aluminum casing) it is again normally seen by OS.
Is this procedure safe from a hardware aspect and is there a "cure" for this behavior?
I had to replug my mouse everytime I turned on my computer when I had my old GAINXP motherboard. This looks to be a similar case. It is probably a fault with the motherboard.
