I am wrestling with an Epson C65 printer. When I last changed the black ink it would not print. The previous cartridge had printed out a perfect page with lots of bold type. Since changing the ink I have used up a whole ink cartridge and the rest of the coloured ones in cleaning routines. During this process a little bit of test pattern - magenta - printed. I found 'Some suggestions for unclogging your Epson printer' on http://www.inkjetart.com/tips/cleaning.html and have followed instructions for cleaning the cleaning pads and the ink spikes with Windex and have continued to use up ink in the cleaning cycles needed for these routines. Now nothing will print, not even part of a test pattern. The printer utility informs me I have used up at least 3/4 of the second new black cartridge today only and 1/2 of the new coloured ones. $65+ down the drain! HELP!!!
