i'm a channel islands resident we'r isent of uk vat, why ebuyer.com charge-me the vat? thank you R.S

I would raise it with ebuyer -- most UK retailers offer a VAT refund procedure for visitors taking stuff out of the EC or to a an EC country with a lower VAT rate but it may be less clear-cut when they ship to a VAT free part of the EC/UK.

I believe ebuyer are well regarded as a mail order source so hopefully they'll come up with a solution.
