my son wants a laptop for christmas. He wants to be able to play world of warcraft on it. Im not smart with computers at all but I do know you need a pretty good graphics card to play this game. With out breaking the bank what is a good laptop to get him to be able to play this game

Any laptop that is brand new from a shop and has a graphics card can handle WOW.
Its more about your internet connection for speed. I dont think that WOW needs a hefty card to run that game

How much are you planning on spending? I just bought a new laptop for school and WOW. It is an Asus and runs it great. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6834220563
This is the one I got. It is $1249 on Newegg.com but I found mine on ebay and got it for $1100 New in box. This will run WOW with little to no lag at all. I get 60 FPS everywhere except the newest city(Dalaran) and it only drops to around 20-30 depending how busy it is. I hope this helps get you looking in the right direction.
