Option to stop or start services.msc are greyed out

When trying to stop or start Microsoft Security Essentials in services.msc the options to do this are greyed out. Have never had this problem before, so why does it happen now?

Had an Windows update yesterday, and downloaded a file from Fileplanet, a patch for Crysis 1, so can this be the cause? Besides this I've changed nothing since yesterday when stoping and starting this service was not a problem. A total scan with Security Essentials shows no virus infection. I run services.msc as administrator. Appreciate all answers. Thanks!
