Windows XP Booting with c:windows explorer window open.

I did a search on Google and it seems it could be a trojan. Is your PC clean
of spyware, trojans and viruses? If you are not sure, it probably is. Update
your antivirus and scan for viruses. Install Spybot 1.4 or Spysweeper update
and scan for spyware.
