I bought a new set of Logitech Z-4 speakers for my Acer laptop running Windows Vista. It seems that only muffled noise is going to the right speaker...nothing is coming out of the left or the subwoofer.

I downloaded the latest Realtek driver, but the drop-down menu to select what speakers you have is greyed out, and I only get an option for stereo speakers.

Any thoughts or ideas? Hopefully I provided enough information. Thanks in advance!
