Need some advice on a pocket camcorder:

It's a gift for someone. Id' like to keep it under $200. I have no idea what's out there so I'm open to any suggestions.

Tell me what you own and how good it is.

I know a Sony digital camera which is 14px and has good features. It is waterproof, Would work in snow, can take good landscape pictures. I Forgot the remaining features. Please search for the name of the model alone. I'm sure it is within $200.

There are many pocket cameras currently available in which will allow you to shoot online video media throughout HI-DEF file format, nevertheless they will set you back at least $100 over normal versions. Even though you are merely buying a pocket video-camera that could document only inside the normal online video media file format, you could nevertheless would like to get one particular that has a better recording quality to help ensure you get the best-quality online video media achievable.

In a July response to a post I listed some for under $200 - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1733549/camcorder-...
There are two Sony and two Panasonic models listed in that post. I just checked the links and the two Panasonic models have been discontinued.
The Panasonic HC-V100 has been replaced by the HC-V110 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/910277-REG/panaso...)
The Canon VIXIA HF R400 Full HD Camcorder might be another one to consider (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/909788-REG/Canon_...)
All the ones mentioned are under $200.

Edit: I should have read the post more carefully. Not sure any of those qualify as pocket camcorders though they are small.
