Hello, I'm looking for a printer with a very low cost per page that it outputs (e.g. cheap ink/toner/drums and no special expensive paper required). I don't care what extra fancy functions it has, I don't need fax or colour or anything fancy, but if I only need to pay a few more dollars, I'd consider that. Is there any website to list printers by cost per page printed? I would like a printer that could print duplex either automatically or manually, has very cheap drums/toner/ink, and is very reliable. I don't need high dpi, colour, fax, scan, LCD displays, CD printing, or any fancy funtions, since I've already got a brother MFC-240C for scanning, and an Epson Photo printer that I've never used for high DPI, CD printing, and colour.
Right now, my mass printing solution is an IP4000, which is getting kind of old. I would like a laser printer if it would be less expensive overall in terms of both cost for printer and toner/drums. Right now, I'm considering the Brother HL-2140 Mono Laser Printer 23PPM 2400X600DPI 8MB 181MHZ Processor

So to sum it up, I would like a printer that would cost me the least in the long term, i.e. by the end of it's life after printin X number of pages, the printer dies, and I divide the cost of the printer by the # of pages printed, and divide the total cost of ink/toner/drums by the # of pages printed, and if I added those two numbers, it would cost me less than if I did that for any other printer.
I'm planning to use this for a home office, so please don't recommend a printer that costs $4000 , and please don't recommended a photo copier, since I will be printing different things. Thanks for all your help.
