Verizon com/quickfix wifi

I have a roku and it has worked fine for a long time.....I have a wireless router and I can still get into the internet and I can get into Netflix, but the movies keep going off every minute or so and say "loading"...takes a long time and then goes off again and again. And the quality only has 2 dots instead of the regular 4. I first called Netflix, the checked everything out on there end and it was fine. They had me disconnect and then reconnect my modem and wireless router and it still didn't work. They think maybe too many people on this channel and roku is not communicating with router and said to contact verizon...can you help me.
